Project Details

Description

The PREV-HED project strives to combat sexual harassment within European universities by fostering the exchange of successful approaches, promoting innovative prevention strategies, and educating managers and educators. The primary objectives include eradicating sexual harassment in universities, enhancing the capabilities of professionals, and establishing robust mechanisms for reporting and supporting victims. The project will disseminate best practices in preventing sexual harassment and tailor effective prevention policies to suit each university's unique characteristics. It will offer comprehensive training for university professionals, conduct awareness campaigns, and institute reporting and support systems for victims. The initiative will also aim to cultivate a network of experts dedicated to sexual harassment prevention. An essential aspect involves evaluating the impact of these activities to gauge their effectiveness. Moreover, the initiative aims to heighten students' consciousness regarding respectful conduct, prevent gender-based and sexual violence, and establish reliable mechanisms for reporting and supporting victims. Ultimately, the project seeks to create more inclusive and nonviolent academic environments.
