Data Science, Machine Learning and Applications, Natural Language Processing, Medical Image Processing, Bioinformatics, Stochastic Modelling and Mathematical Statistics, Random Number Generation, Scientic and High Performance Computing, Metric Number Theory

Teaching interests

Lectures (mostly in English): in the specialization module Data Science and Analytics (Feature Generation, Machine Learning, Deep Learning), Mathematical Modelling, Applied Statistics, Selected Topics in Mathematics (Probability Calculus), Pattern Recognition, Cryptology.

Supervision of about 5 master theses each year, 10 theses have so far been supported by the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation and students were funded to work at various Universities in the U.S. (Virginia Tech, Ohio State University, City University of New York, University of Massachusetts Amherst).
