Organisation profile

Description

With SCSM 2.0, the successful predecessor project SCSM Salzburg Center for Smart Materials is being continued with the already high-profile project partners - Paris Lodron University of Salzburg and Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. Above all, this will allow the scaling of the research results achieved to date to be accelerated.

Utilisation of residual and waste materials in various research approaches as a central focus of the Salzburg Center for Smart Materials 2.0

The content aspects range from lightweight construction applications, the development of bio-based foam systems or natural insulation materials to research into advanced biogenic adhesives and the production of innovative composite materials for 3D printing based on natural products.
